ROUHIYA triumphs in Gr.1 Poule d'Essai des Pouliches

Aga Khan's ROUHIYA surprised at Paris-Longchamp today when she delivered a thrilling performance in the 550k Gr.1 Poule d'Essai des Pouliches with Maxime Guyon on board. The filly by LOPE DE VEGA entered the race as a longshot having no previous experience at Stakes level. She proved that she didn't care and breezed to a formidable win in the contest over the mile where she showed a great turn of foot in the final straight and edged out her rivals by a neck. ROUHIYA is nominated for the French fillies derby next month.
