2yo BORGIA granddaughter LIFTOFF with second consecutive win

Ammerland bred two-year-old LIFTOFF came to her second consecutive victory in her third lifetime start at Yarmouth in the UK today. Trained by John Gosden for The Thoroughbred Racing Corporation Ltd, the filly was the clear favorite in the race over the mile under Robert Havlin and lived up to that billing with an easy win by just under three lengths. LIFTOFF by New Bay is a granddaughter of the great BORGIA, who made her way to the UK via Arqana last year.
