Four Ammerland products at the BBAG Yearling Sale
At this year's BBAG Yearling Sale, Gestüt Ammerland will again be represented by products from its own breeding operation. The four-head strong draft presenting itself in Iffezheim on September 3 is headed by a half-brother to the Gr.3 winner NAVARRA KING (Lot 35) out of the Gr.1-placed NAVARRA QUEEN. The colt with Lot 190 is the first product out of LADY LIVONIA, a full sister to Gr.3 winner and Gr.1 Prix de l'Opéra-placed LADY FRANKEL and sister to Sire of Sires LOPE DE VEGA. With Lot 142 one of Iquitos' first yearlings enters the ring - a colt out of the Listed-placed MARGIE'S MUSIC from a strong Stakes family that also includes Breeders' Cup winner PT'S GREY EAGLE and Gr.1 Breeders' Cup Turf runner-up UNITED as well as Gr.1-placed OUR LITTLE MARGIE. Lot 59 is the only filly; she is a daughter of Gr.1 Oaks third AIGRETTE GARZETTE, a granddaughter of French co-Champion2YO ABSURDE.
