WALDLIED's first product impressive in winning debut

Two days short of his birthday, WALDLIED's first product made an impressive winning debut at Tampa Bay Downs last night. The KINGMAN colt was bred in partnership with Newsells Park Stud and signed at the 2021 Tattersalls Yearling Sale by Mike Ryan for owners Klaravich Stables for 425,000 guineas. The colt, who was named EQUITIZE, breezed to a confident victory under Hector Rafael Hernandez, Jr. for trainer Chad Brown on his first time out.
Continuing the legacy of the W-family, the Gr.2 Prix de Malleret winner WALDLIED (photo) is a half-sister to our Arc hero and freshman sire WALDGEIST out of the brilliant mare WALDLERCHE, a grand daughter of the great WURFTAUBE.
