Black Type for SEA THE SKY in Gr.3 Prix Minerve

Trained for us by Andre Fabre, SEA THE SKY earned the all-important Black Type berth at Deauville today with a strong performance in the €80,000 Prix Minerve, a Gr.3 contest for three-year-old fillies run over 2,500 metres. SEA THE SKY broke well and was found in the back of the pack for most of the way, yet when her partner Maxime Guyon called on her approaching the final turn, the filly kicked away nicely and narrowly earned third place with a great final run.
SEA THE SKY is a full sister to the record German Derby winner SEA THE MOON, who came to us via the 2020 BBAG Yearling Sale.
