Prix Corrida: SWEET LADY gives LOPE DE VEGA Gr.2 win

Prepared by Francis-Henri Graffard for Gemini Stud, SWEET LADY gave her sire LOPE DE VEGA another stakes point today with a terrific win in the €130,000 Prix Corrida, a 2100-metre Gr.2 contest for mares at Saint-Cloud. Jockey Ioritz Mendizabal had parked SWEET LADY in the back of the field from where she kicked away with great speed in the final straight, weaved her way through the entire field and secured a half-length lead at the finish post, sealing her first Gr.2 victory.
