AUNT PEARL becomes second Breeders' Cup winner for sire LOPE DE VEGA

Two-year-old AUNT PEARL just became the second winner of a Breeders' Cup race after Newspaperofrecord for rising sire LOPE DE VEGA, who is enjoying a stellar year with thirteen individual group winners. The Brad Cox trained filly entered tonight's G1 BC Juveline Fillies Turf with an unbeaten record in two starts and topped her young career with a stellar runaway win in the 1 million dollar race over the mile. Breaking like lightning, AUNT PEARL wasted no time and opened up with a three lenght lead which she had extended to five lengths at the wire in a scintillating victory. Florent Geroux was aboard the filly, who was bred by Ecurie Des Charmes and our LOPE DE VEGA's Irish home Ballilynch Stud.
