Autumn auction sales are knocking at the door

The air smells like autumn here at Lake Starnberg, and it is the time of the year where the interesting auction sales take place seemingly everywhere. Hence, yearlings meet up for the largest yearling sale of the year at Tattersalls from October 8th through 19th. Last year, BIONIC WOMAN proved a successful sale for us when she was acquired by Godolphin for 800,000 guineas. The filly by LOPE DE VEGA won the first race of her career last week at Saint-Cloud in impressive style.

No less interesting and high quality is the small lot we offer this year at the same place. With Lot 551 in Book 1, a colt out of G1-placed ROYAL SOLITAIRE (95.5 kg) by no other than the amazing FRANKEL will enter the ring. In Book 2, a colt by NEW BAY out of BORGIA-granddaugther BISCAYA BAY will enter the ring as Lot 815, followed by a ZOFFANY-colt out of LAVANDE VIOLET as Lot 1112.
