DUKE OF HAZZARD scores in G2 Celebration Mile at Goodwood

DUKE OF HAZZARD by LOPE DE VEGA scored his third consecutive win today with a brilliant display of speed in the G2 Celebration Mile at Goodwood (GBP133,750) racecourse. Effectively ridden by Rossa Ryan, the three-year-old colt was spared a lot of ground in a trip along the inside rails and taken to task about two furlongs out where he responded with a powerful late attack giving him a length advantage over the field at the wire. Trained by Paul Cole for Mrs. Fitri Hay, DUKE OF HAZZARD is now a three to three at Goodwood and has improved from Listed-winner to G2-winning status.
